Reports To: Managing Director

1. Basic Function and Scope:

Oversees the planning and coordination and provides expert advice on the development and deployment of a clearly defined quality assurance standards and general operational procedures for the Company. This includes determining the appropriate frameworks and processes for the establishment of quality standards and operational procedures, evaluating and advising on the required control mechanisms to monitor adherence to quality assurance and operational requirements. Oversees all quality audit activities of assigned teams including planning, scheduling, execution and evaluation of audit programs.

The incumbent is responsible for establishment, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s integrated management system consistent with ISO 9001= 2008, ISO 14001 = 2009, and OHSAS18001 = 2007 standards related to Quality, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health & Safety respectively.

2. Duties Performed:

a. Directs and controls the activities of assigned personnel in the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Division. Performs management duties and exercises financial authorities at the level established by management for the position.

b. Oversees the planning and coordination and provides expert advice on the development and deployment of a clearly defined total quality management standards and general operational procedures for the Company. Includes determining the appropriate frameworks and processes for the establishment of QHSE standards and operational procedures, evaluating and advising on the required control mechanisms to monitor adherence to QHSE management and operational requirements, and ensuring their conformance with the Company business strategies and standards.
